Dawn L. Drellos-Thompson, Esq.


Licenses:  Dawn is a licensed attorney in Florida, Wisconsin and Washington, D.C., and a member of the Collier County Bar Association.   She is also admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court-Eastern District of Wisconsin.  In addition to her law license, Dawn is a Florida licensed Community Association Manager L.C.A.M., and serves as a board member and secretary for a condominium association.

Experience:  She is a board member and legal counsel to Care Right, Inc., which serves clients and their families transitioning through the aging process.  As a member of several family owned LLCs and counsel to several multi-million dollar businesses, she has a unique perspective on protecting and representing businesses.   Her primary goal is to limit business liability so as to avoid costly and unpredictable litigation.

Education:  Dawn has a law degree from Marquette University Law School, a Masters Degree in Science Management emphasizing organizational and business structure, and a Graduate Certificate in Mediation and Negotiations. The title of her graduate thesis is: Managing a Publicly Funded Program.

Boards/Memberships:  She is a member of the Florida Bar’s Real Property Probate and Trust Law (RPPTL) and Employment Law Sections, the National Association of Elder Law Attorneys (NAELA), the Lee (County) Elder Abuse Prevention Program (LEAP), The Tiger Bay Club, Liberty First Network, Institute for Justice and the BNI-Edison’s Professional Group.

Community Volunteer:  Volunteer and Pro Bono legal counsel on cases involving Sec. 1983, civil liberties and self-defense cases.   She is a supporter and volunteer for the Children’s Home Society of Florida as well as various animal rescue groups.

License: Andrea is a Wisconsin licensed attorney and member of the Wisconsin Bar and is of counsel to Compass Law Firm, PA.

Education: Andrea graduated from Marquette University Law School where she was a member of the Business Law Society and volunteered for the Marquette Legal Initiative for Nonprofit Corporations.  While she was a law student, Andrea clerked for an estate planning and small business law firm. She attended Concordia University, Wisconsin for her undergraduate education and graduated with a degree in business, with a minor in legal studies.

Experience:  Andrea also works for her family owned transportation business.

Annalee R. Kruger, President of Care Right, Inc. and Consultant for Geriatric and Senior Care Initiatives


Licenses and Certifications:  Licensed Baccalaureate Social Worker, Masters in Business Administration, Certified in Grief, Trauma, Loss and PTSD Counseling, and Six Sigma Black Belt Certified.

Experience:  In 2011, Annalee founded Care Right Inc. to help families and facilities improve care for aging loved ones.  Through Care Right, Annalee and her team of trained and licensed professionals work with aging loved ones and their families in Florida, Wisconsin and Iowa by providing advocacy, emotional support, education and guidance while transitioning through the various physical and cognitive stages of the aging process.

Working at every level in the long-term care industry, Annalee began her career as a social worker over two decades ago and eventually worked her way up as an operations director of a community-based continuum of care retirement facility.

Based on her work experience, Annalee recognized that a PRO-ACTIVE approach to senior health care and planning before a medical crisis occurred was a critical component of the aging process.  Employees of Care Right join seniors and their families in their journey by facilitating difficult conversations about aging, providing family mediation and caregiver support.

Care Right also assists seniors in maintaining their independence for as long as possible by providing frequent home visits, monitoring nutrition and hydration, accompanying seniors to their medical appointments, referrals to community-based programs and education.  In addition, Care Right monitors and advocates for seniors during hospital stays and tours skilled nursing facilities to ensure that the needs and expectations of the senior and his or her family are met.   Care Right also helps seniors who may not have local loved ones to help oversee their care.

Annalee is also a sought after senior care speaker and widely recognized expert in the senior care industry.   Annalee has given presentations on a wide range of important topics concerning seniors and the aging process such as Choosing a Nursing Home for Your Loved One, Portrait of a Family Caregiver, The Dreaded Words: Your Mother has Alzheimer’s Disease and countless other topics in the area of geriatric care and aging.

Memberships:  American College of Healthcare Executives, National Association of Social Workers (NASW) and National Speaker’s Association.
